Meet Amanda Baker (@silvery_b). She survived cancer and has created @cancerrehabworks with a view of creating a charity to campaign for all NHS cancer treatment to include exercise medicine. She realised whilst working with @stronglines_physio that exercise helped to improve the outcome of her treatment as well as relieving some of the side effects.
Decided to bottle this feeling and channel it in to a playlist...
In the second episode of the @aliveandstill podcast, I’m joined by the unstoppable @aimee_fuller. Olympic snowboarder, commentator and broadcaster. Having represented the UK in both the 2014 and 2018 winter Olympics, she became the first woman to land a double backflip and cab double 900. Recently announcing her retirement from professional snowboarding after 11 years in the sport she has taken her fearless attitude and quick-witted humour over in to the world of broadcasting.
The scenes in Liverpool this weekend were NEXT LEVEL. So proud of @yousefcircus for putting our industry back at the forefront and for taking such bold moves to show that we can and will dance together again soon. Can’t wait to get back on the decks 🦋
