This year I played my Glastonbury debut. We have the best crew of friends right now so I decided to take a camcorder and share what we got up to. Meet our tipi #PitGang and the people we spent four incredibly muddy days with.
I recently started working with the amazing charity Love Specs. They asked me to run the Brighton Marathon for them, I firmly refused as I had said my whole life that I would hate to run one. Instead, I decided to help to arrange a skydive. Telling the story on The Breakfast Show on Rinse FM was not only amusing but got me more than I bargained for. Step forward adidas who got in touch, offered me a place and asked me to run for them. They helped to train me with Chakabars and his Spartanfam movement and yesterday I ran 26.2 miles through the streets of London.
It was one of the most inspiring and liberating things I have ever done. The city was so alive and full of thousands of people that not only ran the race but supported loved ones, friends and strangers that committed to the gruelling task. The sun shone, music filled the streets and every second of the hours of training became worthwhile. On top of that, together we raised over £1,100 for the charity to help to build a school for these beautiful children.
Facing up to the things that you always said you would never do not only makes you realise how amazing the human body is but how achieving anything you dream of in life really is possible. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me along the way and to those who believe in the bigger picture. As Gandhi said, “Be the change…”
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

In January I had barely run 5k & hated running. This video was taken at mile 25 yesterday. In just three months with the help, love and support of some truly incredible people I finished the London Marathon & thanks to you all we have raised over £1,100 for @lovespecs. The building of the school is under way and it means that children on the other side of the world have a future. Fears can control us and hold us back from achieving our greatness. It's not until you face them head on you realise just how silly they were in the first place. Anything in your life really is possible & you are the master…. Thank you so much to @adidasuk @adidasrunning @spartanfam @chakabars @tasha_keating & each one of you who made it possible. We helped to #boostlondon xxx
